The salad consisted of what appeared to be chopped iceberg lettuce, diced unknown tomatoes, and shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
This particular stoner chose an Italian dressing.
“I had the pretzel sticks and an ice cream brownie thing the pretzels were really good. They only give you three but it was enough for me.” They devoured three spoonfuls between thoughts.
“Eating out vegetarian can be hard but there’s always dessert.”
The Dairy Queen website lists the Side Salad as 25 calories (without a dressing). As for the ingredients:
Fresh lettuce topped with diced tomatoes and shredded carrots and cabbage. Available with your choice of dressing.*
The ingredients listed out under the allergens and ingredients section are: “Lettuce, Tomatoes Tomatoes (sic), Carrot, Red Cabbage Red Cabbage (sic).”
The dressing of choice was a Marzetti Light Italian dressing packet. From the Marzetti website the ingredients are as follows:

While the cheese is appreciated some carrot and red cabbage would have been nice for the vegetarian.
