A red toner saved the day when my damaged-ass porous hair sucked up the too-dark-appearing toner that had been used initially and left a patchy result + tears on the salon cape.
The result was different from the original plan and both the student doing my hair and I went through an intense emotional experience. Sitting in the shampoo chair hearing the students coach each other on and share workplace fears only adds to the already-existing empathy.
Strawberry blonde it is ! All is well.
