In conjunction to a full-time seasonal benefits-less job ($15/hr), JCP began working with HOUR/Gemini Media as an editor-writer, collaborating with other freelance contributors.
After quitting her full time job, JCP was able to better invest time and energy towards producing quality local journalism.
Amongst professional copywriting, Jessika Cesilia Perez has been able to make up to $19/hr when it comes to entry level work for her various skills amongst retail, customer experience, interpreting, bookkeeping, hospitality, factory, food sector, supervisory and leadership roles despite over ten years of work experience and language advantage.
Share your opinion on the bare minimum you think a full time worker should be able to afford here. ie, Are car payments a luxury? How will we get to our jobs if we can’t afford the car?
As someone who has relied on the bus, roller skated, longboarded, and biked to work, the weather is not always favorable nor is every job location accessible by physical labor.
